PAPRIKA E160c

PAPRIKA is obtained from the red pepper Capsicum annuum. The extract contains two main pigments, capsantine and capsorubin. Both pigments are soluble in oil and give an orange-red hue.

It is stable in heat and pH changes. Its main use is culinary, in food such as soups, sauces, pastas, edible oil or margarine, meat; but it may also be used in drinks, dairy desserts and cheese.
